1. Measure Your Existing Ring
The best method for a surprise - measure a ring that you (or she) already owns! Simply just sneak a ring she wears all the time, measure it, and place it back before she even notices that it’s gone!
How to Measure
- Print out the below ring size chart at 25% or set your printer to 'Print As An Entire Image'
- Place your ring over each circle until one lines up. Make sure that the outside of the circle is touching the inside of the ring (so you can see the outline inside of the ring).
- To double check, take a pencil and trace the inside of the ring against the selected circle - they should match up! Also, if you measure the internal diameter of the ring (in mm), it should match with it’s corresponding size in the ring chart.

2. Measure With A String
Measure a ring with a string or a thin strip paper! This can be easily done and can help find an even and accurate fit.
How to Measure
- Cut a long string or thin piece of paper to be 6-inches long.
- Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger, the tighter the better (without stretching the string)!
- Mark the spot where the string or paper meets and measure the distance with a ruler (in mm).
- Match your finger measurement (in mm) with the corresponding ring size in the below ring chart.

3. Measure With A Sewing Tape
If you happen to own a sewing measuring tape at home, then this will get the job done most efficiently and accurately!
How to Measure
- Find a flexible, sewing measuring tape with centimeters on its ruler.
- Wrap the tape snugly around the base of your finger, not too tight and not too loose. Aim for a snug but comfortable fit and make sure you start from the 0 mark!
- Mark with a pencil, or note how many millimeters it takes to wrap the measure tape around your finger and meet up with your starting point at 0.
- Match your finger measurement (in mm) with the corresponding ring size in the ring chart shown in method #2. If your tape is only showing in centimeters, remember to convert to mm.
Tips & Tricks
- The weather can effect your finger size. During the cold weather your fingers can shrink up to half a size, and when it's hot your fingers expand. Make sure to measure your fingers at room temperature to get the most accurate reading.
2. Avoid measuring your fingers after having some salty snacks and a couple glasses of wine - alcohol and salt can make your fingers swell! If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up. It's always easier to resize it smaller rather than larger.

Tips & Tricks
Make sure you're able to stick a finger (or two) between the string / paper ruler and your wrist. If your bracelet is way too tight it can result in the clasps not closing.
